MEMBERSHIP
Our members represent a broad spectrum of psychodynamic modalities, presenting opportunities for a rich, ongoing professional exchange.
CAPT invites individual practitioners of psychodynamic therapy as well as psychodynamic psychotherapy training institutions and psychodynamic organizations to apply for membership.
Member Categories
CAPT has three distinct member categories: Individual, Institutional and Organizational.
Fees
CAPT membership runs on the calendar year from January 1 to December 31.
Applications are accepted throughout the calendar year; however, as fees for membership are modest, they are not pro-rated.
Members must renew their membership annually to remain in good standing.
The deadline for renewals is December 15th each year.

Code of Ethics (see Code of Ethics)
Many CAPT members will already have a code of conduct or a training in professional ethics from their home institutions. For public assurance and to make transparent our common spirit, we have also agreed to a general common code.
Note
Beginning in 2008, as a condition of membership every CAPT member is required to sign a commitment to adhere to the CAPT Code of Ethics.
